Bisque socket head, deep blue glass paperweight sleep eyes, painted lashes with dot highlights, mauve blushed eye shadow, thickly fringed brows, shaded nostrils, open mouth with outlined lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully jointed body, antique silk and velvet costume, bonnet, leather shoes, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A 17 Le Parisien Bte SGDG (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner Medaille d'Or Paris 1889. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1889. Value Points: dramatic painting of lashes and brows are wonderful contrast to the shy expression, original body and body finish with rare original white fingernails.
