Golden brown poured wax shoulderhead of adult lady with slender oval face turned slightly to the side, elongated throat, modeled bosom, brown glass inset eyes, feathered brows, aquiline nose, closed mouth with solemn expression, brunette hair inserted into scalp, brass grommets for attachment to brown muslin torso, brown poured wax arms to above the elbows and lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, circa 1875. Value Points: the rarity of the model is rivaled by its portrait like features and exquisite refined beauty, wearing lovely silk costume edged with metallic passamenterie and seed pearls, matching headdress and kidskin slippers.
