Each has bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, blue or brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 261 dep Germany 4/0. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1885. Value Points: precious pair, with closed mouths, original bodies and body finish, wearing matching boy and girl linen sailor suits.
