9" (11 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump cheeks and sculpted scowl lines in forehead,blue glass side-glancing set eyes,painted lashes,curly brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with downcast lips,auburn mohair wig,French composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: old V-shaped hairline at back of head from rim. Marks: SFBJ 248 Paris. Comments: SFBJ,circa 1912,rare model from the firm's 200 character series. Value Points: frightened frowning expression on the rare model is well achieved,with antique black velvet best dress and matching violet-trimmed cap,undergarments,stockings,and little leather shoes.
