18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with plump face, brown sculpted hair in short ringlet curls behind the sculpted ears, decorated with a Dresden wreath of gilt-edged feathers with centered rosebud, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, sculpted blue bodice details with defined straps and center medallion with gilt accents, muslin stitch-jointed body with bisque hands, pretty dotted Swiss gown, undergarments. Condition: one-piece break and reglue on right shoulder plate, some retouch to rose, otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rare dark brown hair with unique coronet hair ornaments, very rare design of decorated bodice.
