Description
5" (13 cm.) Each has bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, peg-jointed arms and legs, the boy with painted blue stockings and black shoes; the girl with high white stockings and brown heeled shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the little girl is French, circa 1882; the boy is German for the French market, circa 1885. Value Points: the regal couple are wearing antique burgundy velvet and bronze gold costumes, he with Marquis hat.
