Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading,painted lashes,rose-blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde lambswool wig,plump kid body with gusset jointing at hips,knees and elbows,bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 136 9. Comments: Sonneberg,the doll was an attempt to capture the French market,having a body which closely copies the Bru kid bebe body,mystery maker; the model was also made with composition body (see lot #113). Value Points: beautiful child doll with very sturdy original body,perfect hands,lovely bisque,nice antique costume.
