Description
16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features and short brown hair with forelock curls, shaded brown eyes with pronounced pupils and white eye dots, black and brown upper eyeliner, accent dots at nostrils, closed mouth, shaded ears, stitch-jointed arms with separately stitched thumbs, disc-jointed hips, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, possible retouch of hair. Marks: Kathe Kruse 42913 (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915. Value Points: appealing wistful expression on the early plump child.
