13" (33 cm.) White-complexioned bisque socket head with elaborately painted jester decorations, brown glass inset eyes, red eye outline, closed mouth with exaggerated painting of lips, pierced ears, fleecy mohair wig of red and green, French composition body jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: Generally excellent. Marks: Eden Bebe H Paris (head) Le Petit Parisien (body). Comments: Fleischman and Blodel, circa 1895. Value Points: the wonderfully decorated jester has original wig, wears original silk jester costume and slippers.
