25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head with very full cheeks and chin, painted blue eyes with outlined, black upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full outlined lips in downcast pouting expression, impressed dimples at philtrum and chin, blonde mohair wig in soft curls, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, tiny wig pull above the left ear. Marks: K*R 114 64. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, the model "Gretchen" from their art reform character series. Value Points: exceptional quality of deeply sculpted features, finest quality of bisque and painting in this especially rare large size, original body and body finish, fine antique costume.
