Description
17" (43 cm.) (excluding coronet). Gofun-finished complexion, very narrow enamel inset eyes, closed mouth, black fiber hair in elaborate arrangement that is drawn away from her face and captured into a long braid at the back which reaches nearly floor-length, painted detail of stippled hair around the edges, wearing elaborate eight-layered robes, the outer of ivory brocade with interwoven motif pattern, red trousers, obi, hand-painted fan, red silk slippers, and posed upon an original base. Excellent condition, Japan, Showa era.
