16" (41 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, flocked brunette hair, inset blue jewel-like eyes, brown painted curly lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth in smiling expression, glazed accents on lips, two porcelain beaded upper teeth, impressed dimples at cheek corners and chin, French composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 235 Paris 6 (head) 6 (bottom of feet). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: well-modeled laughter dimples around the eyes and mouth, original flocking of hair, original body and body finish, original costume including double-breasted coat and matching cap with Red Cross insignias.
