22" (56 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes with white eyedots, painted upper lashes, grey lower eye shadow, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, fleecy brunette hair, felt body with jointing at shoulders and arms. Condition: generally excellent, slight fading on jacket, remainder of costume is vibrant and fresh. Marks: Lenci,109/40 (original paper label). Comments: Lenci, circa 1925, the model 40 was from their original 109 series, and was shown in color in the 1925/1926 catalog. Value Points: rare early model is well-preserved with wonderful original costume, highlighted by checkered golfing cap and wooden golf club, with original tag.
