17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, defined sculpting of laughter crinkles around the eyes, fringe-painted upper lashes, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, blonde mohair wig, composition bent limb toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent Marks: 1428 9. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1912. Value Points: wonderful detail of sculpting especially around the eyes and mouth, finest quality of bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
