Description
22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, amber-brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, blushed eye shadow, painted lashes, brushstroked brows with feathered details, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, row of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish albeit scuffed and tip of baby finger missing. Marks: Eden Bebe Paris 9. Comments: Fleischmann & Blodel, circa 1895, the firm registered the model in 1890. Value Points: very expressive features with especially beautiful complexion, dramatic large eyes in rare-to-find amber color.
