Bisque shoulder head with slender face, elongated throat, head inclined haughtily upward, blue glass sleep eyes, heavy modeled eyelids, dark eyeliner, painted lower lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig in upswept coiffure, plaster pate, slender kid body with pin jointing at hips, elbows and knees, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 172. Comments: Kestner, the model was based upon the illustrations of the American artist, Charles Dana Gibson, noted for his renderings of 1910 era society ladies. Value Points: distinctive model by known artist, with original very sturdy body, fine quality bisque, lovely antique costume, original wig.
