18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, large dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, thick brushstroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, some light retouch on body. Marks: H 10 A (and symbol). Comments: Henri Alexandre, circa 1890. Value Points: rare to find model with very distinctive expression accentuated by large eyes.
