Description
13" (33 cm.) overall. 5" doll. Waist-up porcelain half-doll of nude lady with brown sculpted hair in topknot decorated with colorful flowers and beads, arms held away from body with daintily-posed fingers, attached to wire frame and covered with embroidered silk skirt and bodice. Generally excellent. Germany, Goebel, from their Historic Series, the doll was listed in their Historic Series, as model 103 named "Fanny Elssler die Wiener Tanzerin, 1830" honoring the famed 19th-century Viennese ballerina.
