13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck on original bisque shoulderplate, very plump face, large cobalt blue glass inset eyes with thick dark eyeliner, lightly-painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pert tiny lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, softly-stuffed kid body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid-over wooden upper arms with dowel jointing at shoulders, bisque arms to above the elbows, separately-sculpted fingers. Condition: Generally excellent, original distinctive body, tip of one finger missing. Marks: Rohmer (green stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1860. Value Points: charming petite poupee with brilliant eyes that vividly contrast the pale complexion, original body with rarer bisque arms, wearing fine bronze green and blue silk costume, undergarments, leather boots, woven hat. The poupee owns her original trunk with eight additional bonnets, seven additional gowns or dresses, bone-handled parasol, undergarments, and various other accessories.
