19" (48 cm.) Carved wooden head, brown enamel inset eyes, richly-painted features, all-wooden body with swivel waist, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, wrists and ankles, wearing very elaborate royal robes of green velvet with richly-encrusted metallic banding accented with seed pearls, necklace of pearls and faux-rubies, and shaped turban coiffe wrapped with pearls and jewels, metallic reticule. Excellent condition. Continental, late 1700s, included is wooden throne dais with embroidered upholstery and footstool.
