20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brush-stroked brows with feathered detail, rich rose shaded eye shadow, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SX (intertwined) 9. Comments: Henri Delcroix, circa 1888. Value Points: very distinctive and appealing expression on the rarely found bebe with especially fine sculpting around the mouth, splendid deep paperweight eyes, lovey bisque and painting of features.
