2" (5 cm.) Including gilded metal lady's compact which opens to the list of dances at Concordia Ball of February 19, 1878; hanging medallion with figural gilt design and cord and tassel trim; with hidden dance card on the reverse side; and hanging medallion with red/ green and ivory velvet background and tassels, gilded metal trim, with hidden dance card on reverse side. Excellent condition. Vienna, late 1800s, each was a luxury souvenir of an elegant Viennese ball, designed as a remembrance of that event.
