22" (56 cm.) Carved wooden head and torso with oval face and elongated throat, brown sculpted hair waved loosely from her face and captured in a casual bun with cascading curls, enamel eyes, heavily-modeled eyelids, aquiline nose, dowel-articulation at hips, knees, shoulder, wrists and elbows, bare feet with painted sandals, wearing elaborate costume comprising green silk jacket with metallic lace trim, red velvet fitted tunic with applique medallion, patterned homespun skirt, and with gilt headband set with tiny coral stones. Excellent condition. Continental, 1700s.
