9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head with oval-shaped face and pointy chin, tiny brown glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the primly set lips, unpierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body, nicely dressed in antique pinafore dress, undergarments, bonnet, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: M Paris GD 1. Comments: Henri Delcroix, who registered the mark in 1887. Value Points: rare tiny bebe with very appealing expression, fine bisque, original body with original finish.
