12" (30 cm.) A firmly-constructed paper mache lamb with curly white lambswool cover has shaved paper mache face with painted grey outlined eyes, painted muzzle and mouth, posed upon a wooden platform with tiny metal wheels. The lamb is decorated with silk ribbons and a brass bell, and has kid-hinged throat designed to "baa-a-a" when tipped forward (bellows not functioning). French, circa 1890.
