18" (46 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head of adult lady with heart-shaped face turned to the right, elongated strong throat, narrow blue glass enamel eyes, delicately-painted brows and lips, inserted mohair wig arranged in up-swept manner, softly-stuffed muslin torso, poured wax arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, circa 1890, possibly Lucy Peck. Value Points: very beautiful modeling of face with distinctively modeled eye sockets, wearing a very fine antique black silk faille jacket with lace and bead trim, silk taffeta skirt with demi-train.
