10" (25 cm.) Carved wooden head, hands and feet, delineated big toe, glass eyes, gofun finish with painted features and double row of teeth, ornate black silk fiber hair with red silk crepe hair ornaments, wearing unusually-colored brown brocade short coat with cord bows and ties, over a padded blue brocade kimono with red lining, and carrying a wooden-handled Western-style silk parasol. Mounted on wooden base. Excellent condition. Taisho era, circa 1920.
