11" (28 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead with ebony black complexion, painted brown upper glancing eyes, closed mouth, porcelain sculpted turban in elaborate wrap with gilt ornaments, and dangling tassel, muslin stitch-jointed body, black porcelain lower arms. Condition: generally excellent, tiny nose tip rub. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: very rare model with uniquely sculpted elaborate turban, wearing antique silk costume and slippers.
