11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with heart-shaped face, blonde sculpted hair waved from her face and captured in a very full chignon at the back and crowned with a sculpted saucer cap in magenta and black pattern with long magenta streamer bow and with a white ruffle at the back, painted blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, old muslin body, bisque lower arms and legs, painted flat black shoes, nicely costumed. Condition: very faint old hairline at the back shoulder. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value points: rare model with artistically decorated bonnet.
