Description
12" (30 cm.) Each bisque bust of child has distinctively sculpted facial features, the girl with long blonde ringlet curled lock and pink hair bow, with blue painted downcast eyes and shy smiling expression with painted teeth; and the boy with deeply sculpted short brown hair with brown side-glancing eyes and broad smiling expression with painted teeth; each with well-detailed costumes with painted and gilt accents. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake on base of girl. Comments: Germany, probably Dresden, circa 1890. Value Points: outstanding sculpting especially around the eyes and cheeks, superb costumes.
