Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, dimpled chin, blonde mohair wig over original Steiner pate, French composition fully jointed body, fine antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Figure C J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare grand size of the elusive model with lovely bisque and personality, original Steiner body and body finish.
