Bisque socket head with very rich ebony-black complexion, amber-brown glass paperweight inset eyes, black eyeliner, black painted lashes and brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with coral-shaded lips, pierced ears, black mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, original Jumeau woolen plaid dress with velvet trim, with antique velvet and red silk hat, undergarments, black knit stockings, black kidskin shoes signed "Paris Depose 8" (with bee symbol). Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau 8. Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885, a transitional model bearing the tete signature, but with more portrait like features. Value Points: very rare model with gorgeous and flawless rich complexion enhanced by gleaming patina and amber eyes, superb original costume and signed Jumeau shoes.
