Description
3" (8 cm.) largest doll. 9" diam. base. Five miniature all-wooden dolls have one-piece head and torso, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted complexion and facial feature, and are wearing original simple costumes. Condition: generally excellent except largest with well-worn paint on head. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1840. Value Points: the five little dolls are posed on a wooden base with rich metal border, mirrored base to simulate a pond, a flowered-covered garland and mossy ground, with domed glass cover.
