Description
14" (36 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey lower eye shadow, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with accent dots on lower lips, blonde mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: very good, some dustiness on face, wig sparse at crown, few moth holes. Marks: Lenci (original paper label). Comments: Lenci, circa 1930. Value Points: the little girl is wearing an unusual brown felt dress with yarn and grey cross-hatch felt appliques, undergarments, shoes, and carrying a little fishnet sack which contains a lush mohair duck with orange felt beak and feet.
