Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, feathered brows, brunette human hair, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with "wasp-waisted" lady-shaped torso. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 71 Unis France 149 301 E r (in circle) T. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1930, from a series of fashionable lady dolls, "Femmes 1900", depicting fashions of the early 1900s. Value Points: fine original condition wearing purple taffeta skirt with matching turban-like bonnet with rose flower trim, embroidered blouse, blue taffeta cape with burgundy soutache embroidery, undergarments, socks, black side-snap shoes, and with original Jumeau gilt paper label with ink inscription "Femme 1900".
