24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, very plump cheeks, blonde mohair wig in soft ringlet curls, composition and wooden fully jointed plump body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 15. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful serene expression, fine quality of bisque, original wig, body, body finish, wearing (frail) blue silk faille original dress with lace trim, matching bonnet, undergarments, shoes, and socks.
