22" (56 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead, brown sculpted hair in soft waves around her face and drawn back into softly-rolled bun at back of head with flowing curls below, enamel eyes, heavily-lidded eyes, slight smile, defined throat hollow, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, bare feet with painted sandals, silk and tapestry costume, bracelets, and metallic thread cap. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, wonderful definition of hair.
