16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, real lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: SFBJ 301 Paris 4. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1915, the trunk, costumes and nature of presentation are suggestive of the work of Au Nain Bleu. Value Points: wearing original medieval style costume with silver crown, the doll also owns a well-fitted trunk with double trays, wedding ensemble, undergarments, jacket, coat, chiffon afternoon dress, and other costumes of the era.
