Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists, wearing pretty antique white cotton dress with embroidered bodice, undergarments, beautiful kidskin shoes incised with image of castle and signed "Paris Depose". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 989 6. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: rare closed mouth model with character-like expression, fine lustrous bisque, original body finish, great costume and shoes. Ex-June Ellen Lane Collection.
