11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, rose-blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with heart-shaped upper lip, accent line between the lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with flat-cut derriere and straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent, tiny nose rub, light craquelure on original body finish. Marks: Sch (in shield) 4 (on head) Sch (in shield on bottom of derriere). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1882. Value Points: beautiful face with dainty petulant features, rich amber-brown eyes, original lace-trimmed gown and bonnet, undergarments, knit stockings, rose shoes.
