Bisque socket head with round plump face, brown glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted short curly lashes, short feathered brows, button-shaped nose, closed mouth with impish smile, blonde mohair bobbed wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body, wearing antique knit romper, shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A made in Germany 5 JDK 221 Ges Gesch. Comments: Kestner, circa 1910, their beloved googly model inspired by the Kewpie design. Value Points: the sought-after wide-eyed googly is especially charming in this petite size, original wig, pate, body, and body finish, very choice bisque and complexion.
