19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head depicting a slightly-older child, small brown glass sleep eyes in deeply-set sockets, fringed upper lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled as though open with defined space between the lips and two painted upper teeth, brunette mohair softly-curled wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 112 49. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: rare glass-eyed version of the 112 art character, especially rare in this size, has superb bisque and sculpting, original body and body finish, very artistic painting of lips, wearing fine antique schoolgirl costume, undergarments, patterned stockings, shoes, cap and carries umbrella.
