17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, daintily feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, ears pierced into head, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French stretched-kid over wood poupee body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, bisque lower arms and hands. Condition: generally excellent, perfect hands. Comments: Barrois, circa 1865. Value Points: very beautiful poupee with wonderful antique costume, bonnet, red leather boots, rare body and perfect hands.
