11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked fringed brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden body with jointing at shoulders, elbows and hips. Condition: generally excellent, flakes on pierced ear holes, original body and body finish except wear on lower left arm and hand. Marks: Bru JneR 2. Comments: Maison Bru, Girard epoch, circa 1892. Value Points: the petite bebe wears antique sailor costume and cap with gilt lettering "Paris".
