Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass spiral-threaded eyes with darker-blue outer rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners, accented nostrils, closed mouth, outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1882, the doll was designed to compete with the popular French bebe of the same era, to which it bears a remarkable likeness. Value Points: beautiful all-original little girl with original wig, study body, ice blue silk costume, undergarments, knit stockings, leather shoes, earrings.
