19" (48 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, painted blue side-glancing eyes, grey eye shadow, fringed brows and lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig in soft curls, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (paper label, with ink script BH-55). Comments: Lenci, circa 1945, the classic 300 series face was introduced on a taller body at this time. Value Points: in pristine condition, the doll wears original organdy gown with red felt lattice trim, felt applique roses and leaves, red felt bonnet with feathers and roses, organdy petticoat, hoop and pantalets, socks, and black felt shoes.
