12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head with chubby dimpled cheeks, round brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short brushstroked brows, open mouth with two rows of porcelain teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, five-piece composition body, nicely costumed. Marks: Germany 410 3/0. Comments: Marseille, circa 1913, the model was commissioned by Rosbert Maaser from that firm. Value Points: rare model with wonderful expression, impressed cheek dimples, double row of teeth with (working) retractable movement of lower row when the doll is lying down.
