38"h. (97 cm.) x 29"w. x 21"d. The very fine console cabinet of quarter-sawn American oak with disc storage inside the lower portion. features a double comb mechanism. Mermod's specially patented "Stella" system was designed to play projection-less discs, making it wasy to store a large number of discs in a small space. Excellent condition, restored (7 teeth restored on upper comb), operates and sounds very well. Swiss, Mermod Freres, circa 1900, and bearing the label of the original sales agent, Jacot & Sons of Union Square, New York. Included are 24 original discs in excellent condition.
