6" (15 cm.) doll. 3 1/2" teddy. All-bisque one-piece character doll with sculpted brown hair having forelock curls, side curls, and topknot, painted facial features, side-glancing brown googly eyes, closed mouth with impish smile, two sculpted arms clasping the chubby tummy, with painted blue pajamas. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, the doll was marketed as "Chubby", circa 1920. Value Points: the dear little imp owns a miniature mohair teddy by Steiff, with black bead eyes, brown embroidered nose, jointed arms and legs, and with original silver button in ear.
