20" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head small blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, delicately fringed brows, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 109 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt from their art reform character series, the model marketed as "Elise", circa 1912. Value Points: rare model, seldom found in this larger size, with very fine matte complexion that is enhanced by especially well-defined modeling, superb antique costume and bonnet, undergarments, socks and kidskin shoes.
